A simple Way: connect to inner truth, peace, love, and light.

What Works

"Do well and right, and let the world sink."

— George Herbert

It is all too easy for people to go about their lives, doing, doing, doing, and never question what they are doing or why. In other words, they could be good, little Nazis. The Nazis were very efficient in their evilness, in every wrong thought, desire, action or goal they had. This is what people do in their lives, everywhere, when they merely accept the social programming, conditioning, and indoctrination of their society. Of course, you assume you are right; you assume you are living a good life in a good and just society. Everyone else is doing the same; you all think the same; you are in agreement. It "works." It must be right. Well, no, not really.

As Goethe said, "Nothing is more terrible than ignorance in action." Or, as Martin Luther King, Jr. said, in more recent times, "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." Clearly, life demands discernment. On the most fundamental level of your existence you have to be able to tell right from wrong, truth from falsehood, and good from evil. You have to be able to find that place, within you, where you resonate with Truth. Otherwise, the life you live, no matter how you might imagine it is "working for you," is not.

If you want to know what is really right, good, or true, you need to question everything. The only thing that is right is true inner conscience. This means turning over every decision in your life to the Light and Truth within — not your programming or social indoctrination. For most people, that is 100% different from what they are already doing, what they were taught to do.

Here are some things that work for you, that you can work on, cultivate, or develop (which are addressed in the Inner Life software program): consciousness, choice, commitment, creativity and intelligence, flexibility, dynamic action, faith, responsibility, purpose, personal power, integrity, patience, realism, perspective, love, truth, simplicity, honesty, trust, nonviolence, respect, openness, originality, spontaneity, flexibility, receptivity, aesthetic appreciation, imagination, insight, initiative, organization, communication, focus, integration, expanded awareness, overcoming negativity, spiritual truth, mindfulness, balance, sincerity, evenness, detachment, courage, clearing emotions, and thinking for yourself. It is up to you to use the tools that are given to you, and find a better Way. And it begins with you realizing you can do something different in your life, you can grow, you can change, you can get past what otherwise might oppress or defeat you. You can learn what works for you.    read more ...
