A simple Way: connect to inner truth, peace, love, and light.

There is a place to stand, within you — your true self — to deal with everything in the world around you, from a place of inner strength, wisdom, peace, love, and power.

Say the Word

"Those who wish to appear wise among fools, among the wise seem foolish."

— Quintilian

George W. Bush was elected president because he appeared wise to fools; to the wise, he seems a complete fool. But a fairly good liar. It runs in his family. Just say the word "compassion" over and over, and the media will guarantee that the masses believe you are compassionate. Use the word "evil" often enough, to label people in foreign lands who pose no real threat to America, and you can cover up all of your own heinous actions. The Bushes, bringing in countless billions of dollars through secret oil deals and profiteering from war — like they always have — wage a war against truth, and, truth has been losing. They have many supporters who can see nothing wrong with what is wrong, and who see evil as good, and wrong as right; people who would rather believe a lie.

The fact is, in this world, at this time, nearly everything is reversed. Lies are believed to be truth, evil is taken as good, and wrong is so common that it is accepted as being right.

Thanks to Michael Jackson, saying something is "bad" means it's "good." And "wicked" means really good. Saying something is "sick" means it's "fine." There is a reversal of meaning, not just by young people or pop icons, but by our leaders. Jackson, who made it a habit of going to hospitals to hold newborn babies in his arms, and who had many children in his bed, acted as if he were the definition of "innocent," but he was far from that.

And President Clinton stared the American people in the face and lied, "I did not have sex with that woman." In order to avoid being found guilty of felony perjury charges, he testified under oath that "sex" did not mean "oral sex," and it depends upon "what the meaning of 'is' is." The American people have witnessed fewer contortions of words to mean other than what they actually mean. Yet, a generation of American children, adolescent and teen-aged, now believe that oral sex is not sex, and so engage in such behavior without a second thought.

Why do we fall for such lies, especially those of us who should know better, as adults?

If you study what occurs in nations throughout this world, you come to the conclusion that everyday ordinary people are happy to believe every lie, and go along with Evil. Why? They lack discernment. They lack understanding. They lack awareness. They lack conscience. For many people, what is wrong is all right with them, evil is good to them, and lies serve them better than truth. For the rest, they just don't care enough to want to change anything (except the TV channel). Maybe they would rather not know. Maybe it's because they have been lied to, programmed and shaped by self-destructive forces in their society from the earliest age, and have lost much of their ability to tell truth from lies. Maybe they just don't care. Or, maybe we don't want to see what others are doing wrong, because we don't want others to see what we are doing wrong, either.    read more ...
